Where the bear roam, Bear Creek offers many streams and large
rock formations, providing a great Bear habitat
for the native black bear.
This tract offers the highest elevations of the entire 653 acres
of Black Fox Hills and provides for spectacular views of the Blue
Ridge Mountains not to mention the picturesque sunsets!
Access can be off of Route 56, a Virginia two-lane highway, via a
deeded right of way or off of State Road 626, which is
hard-surfaced and then off of a shared deeded
right of way to the private drive leading to the two building sites.
Bear Creek is within one hour of both Lynchburg and Charlottesville
and only 20 minutes from Lovingston, the county seat of Nelson.
As with the other Black Fox Hills tracts, Bear Creek is in a
conservation easement which restricts further divisions of the
property. This assures that Bear Creek, will always be a great
hunting property as well as a retreat from the sounds and stresses
of centers of population.
