Ridge View, the 140-acre tract of Black Fox Hills, offers the most
expansive views looking westerly towards the Blue Ridge Mountains
and easterly over the smaller mountains in Buckingham and the Piedmont.
This land has predominantly a younger forest, which provides for a
better habitat for rabbits and turkeys, although plenty of deer and
bear can be found as well.
The elevated building sites offer panoramic views overlooking the
entire 1200+ acres that make up Black Fox Hills. Because of the
conservation easements that are in place, one can be assured that
this beautiful landscape will never be destroyed and will be there
for future generations to cherish and enjoy!
Ridge View is located one hour from Charlottesville and Lynchburg
and 20 minutes east of Lovingston. Lovingston offers several grocery
stores and restaurants and is the county seat of Nelson.
Access is off of State Road 626, which is hard-surfaced and then off
of a shared deeded right of way.
